Free download of two unique Glossaries with terms’ etymology
Dear Readers,
It’s a well-established fact that foreign words are better memorized long-term when associated with their origins, or etymology. Therefore, I am pleased to present the latest update of my English-Italian and Portuguese-Italian glossaries.
These glossaries could become your unique companions for an easy and quick learning, as they include the aforementioned etymology for most of the listed terms.
The first which is the English-Italian Glossary covers terms currently used in the press, mainly taken from the New York Times and the Washington Press newspapers. The source for the Glossario Portoghese-Italiano is primarily the daily Público newspaper online. In the latter, many terms come from readers’ posts, so you’ll also find some informal or slang terms used in everyday street language. Both glossaries are periodically updated with new terms.
